As predicted in my earlier post, the Super Street Fighter IV site and blog have received an update today.
More specifically, Dee Jay is now being displayed in the character section of the site, along with his bio and some screenshots we’ve seen scattered across the Internet; his addition to the game means that all the classic characters from the original SF2 series are now in SSF4. Also, the promotional video including T. Hawk, Dee Jay, and Juri movesets has been added to the trailer section of the site.
Moving on to more important subjects, namely the blog update, Shiozawa seems to tackle a couple of subjects. Firstly, Shiozawa addresses the arcade situation; if you weren’t already aware, Ono previous announced that the SSF4 update will not be hitting the arcades. Shiozawa reiterates this, but apparently she seems to indicate that Capcom has not “given up” on the prospect of an arcade version; perhaps she is signaling for more fan support?
Shiozawa also goes on to say that the developmental blog will receive its first post this coming Tuesday. I assume the developmental blog will contain more technical aspects, such as the movesets for new characters, the alleged new Ultra move for the old characters, and maybe even rebalancing.
As always, check out the Competitive Online news page (you’re looking at it right now!), or Competitive Online chat for the latest news concerning Super Street Fighter IV. Keep the hype alive guys!
