Sure, we’ve all seen the Ono interview over at Gamespot, as well as the Famitsu magazine pictures, but now it’s official: The teaser video hosted over at the Capcom site now links to what seems to be the new official source of information for the recently announced, longtime speculated Super Street Fighter IV. You can check it out by clicking here.
Some things discerned from the first and only blog post on the site (with the help of Google Translator) are:
• As stated in the Ono interview, the targeted release date is “Spring 2010″.
• Three characters are presented at this time: Classic SF2 characters Dee Jay and T. Hawk, and newcomer Juri, a korean Tae Kwon Do user.
• Dee Jay’s screenshots, along with an apparent big update to the blog, will be presented on October 1st at 17:00 JST (1am PST, 4am EST).
• Not only characters are being included; the blog post states that new stages, a new theme, and also some sort of new mode are also under development.
• The blog will be updated every Tuesday and every Friday.
This is all I could gather with the help of Google Translate and basic logic, but rest assured that much more information will be rolled out over the official site over the coming weeks!
